Our hotel is a vibrant, multi-outlet operation featuring restaurants, a brasserie, bar dining, weddings, and large-scale functions, offering variety, creativity, and constant challenge for the right candidate.
The Role
As Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role within the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure the highest standards across all food offerings. You will be hands-on, highly organised, and confident leading a team under pressure while consistently delivering outstanding food.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a busy, multi-faceted kitchen
* Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service
* Maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation across all outlets
* Managing high-volume service, including weddings and functions
* Ensuring food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards are always upheld
* Assisting with menu development, costing, and stock control
* Training, mentoring, and developing junior chefs
* Remaining calm, focused, and efficient in high-pressure situations
The Ideal Candidate
* A highly experienced Sous Chef ready for a senior role
* Proven background in hotels or large, multi-outlet kitchens
* Strong leadership skills with a positive, professional attitude
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
