St Peters Nursing Home is set in the beautiful area of Castlebellingham, Co Louth we are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team. Our Residents are the most important people and at St Peters their choices are respected. We want to create a Home for Home in a friendly environment.
Overall Objectives: To provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the location.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of food/snacks.
Keep the kitchen and server areas clean and tidy at all times.
Provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all residents.
Ensure residents are given a prompt and efficient service; exceed expectations by being visible, approachable, and quick to fulfill resident needs.
Project a willing and helpful attitude to residents.
Keep service counters clean and fully stocked.
Treat team members at the location as you would expect to be treated; cooperate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen/service areas as requested.
Attend food safety, health and safety, and environmental training courses as required; rigorously follow unit cleaning schedules.
Attend all location meetings as required.
Show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role.
Attend to any reasonable request made by a resident or Management.
