Young Adult Mental Health Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Young Adult Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
* Conduct occupational therapy assessments to evaluate how young people's mental health conditions impact their daily lives.
* Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to support independent living, education, and social participation.
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers.
* Actively participate in care planning, goal setting, and discharge planning for service users.
* Deliver one-to-one and group-based interventions focused on enhancing functional skills, coping strategies, and overall well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
* Full registration with CORU.
* Ability to work with individuals and groups within a supportive environment.
* Passion for working with young adults in mental health settings.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and with service users.
* Ability to deliver therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
