Role Description
We are looking for a Design (Dx) Project Manager to join GagaMuller. The Opportunity
GagaMuller is supporting the delivery of major data centre and digital infrastructure projects on behalf of global technology clients. The Design (Dx) Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating design activities, managing digital project information, supporting BIM implementation, and ensuring design deliverables are aligned with programme, budget, quality, and operational requirements.
Working closely with client stakeholders, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, BIM teams, and project controls functions, you will support the successful management of project design from concept through construction and handover.
Responsibilities
Scope & Delivery Management
Manage design delivery activities throughout project planning, design, procurement, construction, and handover phases.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages and project milestones.
Monitor design progress against programme requirements and support mitigation of delays where required.
Support management of project scope, design changes, and design coordination activities.
Ensure design deliverables align with project objectives, quality standards, and client requirements.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a key interface between clients, consultants, contractors, BIM teams, and project stakeholders.
Facilitate design coordination meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
Support effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams.
Coordinate design information flow between project stakeholders.
Assist in resolving design‑related issues and project constraints.
3. Risk & Compliance Management
Identify and manage design risks, interface challenges, and programme impacts.
Support design assurance and compliance reviews.
Ensure adherence to client standards, project requirements, and BIM execution plans.
Monitor design change processes and assess impacts on programme, cost, and delivery.
Support project governance and quality management procedures.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain design trackers, action logs, design schedules, and project reporting tools.
Prepare project reports, dashboards, and progress updates for stakeholders.
Support management of project documentation within Common Data Environments (CDEs).
Track design deliverables, approvals, and key project milestones.
Support handover documentation and digital information requirements.
Work closely with BIM Managers, Information Managers, Project Managers, Schedulers, and Construction Teams.
Support implementation of BIM and digital construction workflows across projects.
Promote integration between design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to digital delivery and project management processes.
Foster a collaborative and solutions‑focused project environment.
Qualifications
Degree qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, BIM, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of design management principles and project delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
Familiarity with BIM workflows, Common Data Environments (CDEs), and digital construction technologies.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
What Experience We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience in Design Management, Project Management, BIM Management, or Digital Delivery roles.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
Strong understanding of BIM processes, digital project delivery, and information management principles.
Experience working with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
Experience managing project stakeholders and coordinating design approvals.
Understanding of project controls, scheduling, and construction delivery processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced project environments.
