Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Payroll Officer.
* Process monthly payrolls for UK and Ireland and manage outsourced European payrolls by ensuring timely payment processing, compliance with tax legislation, and effective communication with stakeholders.
* Monitor and prepare monthly payroll-related payments, including salary calculations and benefits administration.
* Process pension uploads and changes, as well as new starters and leavers, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Calculate holiday and sickness payments, expenses, and payments, and post payroll journals accurately and efficiently.
* Process end of year returns and P60s, maintaining all payroll records up-to-date and accessible.
* Resolve payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service and support.
Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer who has previously worked in similar roles, handling both Irish and UK payrolls, and possesses part-qualified Accountant/IPASS qualifications. Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax legislation is essential. Experience with SAGE payroll is highly advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, are also required.
