The firm is looking to recruit an individual to assist the global accounting teams with a range of activities including: regulatory reporting & filing, closing the monthly books and records, performing accounting analysis and management reporting and assisting with other finance related activities across North America and EMEA.This position demands an analytical approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, as well as outstanding organisational and multi-tasking skills. It requires you to have a keen eye for detail and able to deliver in a fast-paced, demanding environment while remaining calm under pressure.Principal ResponsibilitiesAssisting the global finance team in regulatory filings across various jurisdictions Millennium operates inAssisting in closing the monthly books and records across different regions including North America and EMEAAssist in performing reconciliations and cash management for Millenniums global management company accountsAssist in financial statement preparation and guiding audits to completion.Assist in preparation of internal management reporting materials.Assistance with Global finance projects and process improvements.Flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the team.Identify and make suggestions for efficiencies and improvements when performing work.Work closely with the Global finance team to assist in preparation of other ad hoc itemsQualifications/Skills RequiredMinimum of 3 years in a Finance or Accounting Role, preferably within a large accounting firm or in a relevant industryRelevant accounting qualificationExperience working with or in large corporate organisationExcellent analytical skills and judgmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong technical proficiency with web applications and MS OfficeAbility to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environmentProactive individual with strong interpersonal and client service skillsDetail oriented; demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of workStrives to drive continuous improvementHardworking, honest, enthusiastic
