We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing all culinary operations, including supervising kitchen staff, deputising in their absence, and overseeing food preparation. They will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
* Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
* Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff
* Maintain efficient kitchen operations during service hours
Cooking Management:
Manage inventory levels by ordering supplies when necessary,
personnel management of chefs at maximum output leading onto consistent menu requirements.
Presentation ensuring dishes meet high-quality expectations
The role is crucial to maintaining high standards across menus - Its about enhancing taste profiles & customer satisfaction even further thereby increasing retention rates. Quality check monitors every step on that individual’s path from raw ingredients through final production reducing any chance of waste where appropriate we review these experiences due regard being given time spent apart general renovation packages etc.
