System Automation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled System Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation systems, and software development.
The role involves project and services-based work, focused on designing, developing, commissioning, testing, and supporting electrical and automation systems in the Water, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure industries.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, commission, test, and support electrical and automation systems
* Leverage expertise from more experienced engineers while executing project tasks
* Maintain high levels of quality and meet predefined project targets
* Contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and technologies
Ideal Profile:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
* Demonstrated experience applying an engineering approach to problem-solving
* Strong technology skillset, code development skills, and methodologies (experience with IEC 61131-3 Programming Languages is an asset)
* Experience in design, configuration, and development of WinCC OA
* Excellent understanding of control system architecture
* Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, I/O schedules, and network diagrams
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Preferred Skills:
* Mature PLC coding methodology
* Mature process improvement capability
* Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, and serial communications
* Ability to execute and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and system commissioning activities
* Familiarity with testing tools, simulation environments, and diagnostic platforms for PLC and SCADA systems
