Production Manager Job Description
At the heart of our operations is a Production Manager who will oversee day-to-day activities within our busy manufacturing facility. This leadership role requires a motivated and experienced individual to take ownership of production planning, team supervision, and process efficiency.
The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards in safety, quality, and output by:
* Overseeing and coordinating daily production activities to meet operational targets.
* Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing approved efficiency enhancements.
* Planning and scheduling production tasks to ensure timely completion of orders.
* Maintaining quality assurance standards across all production stages from raw materials to finished goods.
* Leading and managing a cross-functional team including production, warehousing, and logistics staff.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring proper staff deployment, providing training to meet operational and safety standards, upholding rigorous hygiene and housekeeping standards throughout the production and packaging areas, enforcing health and safety policies, and reporting any quality or compliance non-conformities.

Experience & Qualifications:

* Proven leadership skills, particularly in staff management, performance development, and process optimization.
* Knowledge of industry-specific regulations is beneficial.
* Experience with continuous improvement initiatives is desirable.
* Proficient in general computer applications; familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
