RGI Plumber – Facilities Maintenance

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and certified RGI Plumber to join our facilities maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, servicing, and repair of plumbing and gas systems across a range of commercial and facility environments.
This position requires strong technical expertise, an RGI qualification, and a proactive approach to safety and service quality. The role is suited to a reliable professional who takes pride in high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing and gas systems within our portfolio.
* Install, commission, and service gas and water systems, fixtures, and appliances.
* Diagnose and repair faults such as leaks, pressure issues, blockages, and heating inefficiencies.
* Maintain and operate boilers, pumps, valves, cylinders, and associated plumbing equipment.
* Ensure all work complies with RGI regulations, local plumbing codes, and company safety standards.
* Keep detailed and accurate records of work orders, service reports, and safety checks.
* Collaborate with HVAC and electrical teams to support integrated facility operations.
* Provide rapid response to emergency breakdowns and after-hours callouts when required.
Requirements
* Fully qualified Plumber with current RGI certification.
* Minimum 5-10 years' experience in plumbing and gas maintenance (commercial or facilities background preferred).
* In-depth knowledge of gas safety, plumbing codes, and maintenance procedures.
* Proven experience working with heating systems, water pumps, and pressurised pipework.
* Basic computer literacy for reporting and job tracking systems.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
* Full, clean driving licence (company vehicle provided).

Work Schedule
