Adult Day Services Coordinator

Contract Hours:
35 hours per week, full time
Salary Scale:
€48,624 – €58,837 pro rata per annum.
Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)
Annual Leave Entitlement:
30 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of the Post
The Coordinator will be responsible for leading the effective development and delivery of the day service using a person-centred approach and in line with New Directions.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team in delivering quality standards of care and support to adults with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, using a person-centred approach and in line with New Directions.

Qualifications
Third level qualification in Social Care, Nursing or equivalent relevant qualification.
Be registered with CORU (Health & Social Care Professional) or Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).
Confirm annual registration with CORU or NMBI to Enable Ireland.
Eligible to work in the state.
Experience working with adults with disabilities.
Knowledge and experience of working in the disability/social care sector, community or day service settings.
Management/coordination experience including managing people and staff support and supervision.
Experience of a high degree of professional autonomy in relation to the key areas of administration.
Experience in delivering services within the social model of care with strong understanding of disability rights, person centred approaches and inclusive practices.
Experience of individual case management, care plans, monitoring and evaluation.
Hold full, clean driver's licence.
Ability to support individuals with diverse needs including complex support requirements.
3 years working with adults with disabilities.
