Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Principal Product Manager Technical to drive vision for Amazon CloudWatch, the native observability service for AWS customers.
Description
Amazon CloudWatch is a fast-growing business delivering essential monitoring services to millions of AWS customers.
This high visibility role focuses on strategic initiatives in the observability space, with an emphasis on AI/ML and analytics.
The Principal Product Manager works across AWS teams, defines product strategy, and manages full lifecycle from vision to go-to-market.
Key Responsibilities
Deeply understand and champion the needs of diverse AWS customers, interacting through product feature calls, briefings and advisory boards.
Act as bridge between the Head of Product for Amazon CloudWatch, Engineering Leaders and GTM teams.
Develop product vision and strategy, translating it into clear deliverables for engineering teams.
Own strategy behind feature development, pricing, naming and P&L of the business.
Launch new products and implement go-to-market plans to drive awareness, engagement and adoption.
Lead strategic investment areas of AI/ML/LLM Ops and Observability.
Represent AWS as an industry thought leader at conferences such as re:Invent.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product.
Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering.
Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy for a product.
Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements.
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis or process improvement.
