Project Manager
A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of engineering upgrade works, site improvements, and installation projects. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for coordinating small in-house teams and supporting the delivery of site-based engineering projects.
The Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various projects across different sites. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Planning and executing projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
* Supervising a team of tradespeople across fabrication and electrical disciplines.
* Coordinating task scheduling, materials, and daily work activities.
* Ensuring health & safety compliance and implementing safe systems of work.
* Reporting progress, issues, and timelines to senior site engineering staff.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
* Knowledge of stainless steel fabrication and welding.
* Familiarity with electrical systems in a plant or industrial setting.
* Ability to work from and modify technical drawings (AutoCAD).
* Solid IT skills (MS Office, scheduling & reporting tools).
* Strong communicator and problem-solver with a practical mindset.
