We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper for our well-established customer.
Responsibilities:
* Management of bank accounts, cash flows and financial forecasting.
* Management accounts, VAT returns, P30, etc.
* Preparation of accounts for audit (Surf accounts package)
* Payroll
* Tax returns (Ireland & UK)
* Assist with Central Bank returns as required.
* Implement processes and upgrades to help improve efficiency.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years experience preferred.
* Accounting technician / part qualified accountant or similar qualification.
* Proficiency in Surf or similar finance software
* Knowledge of management accounting principles and audit procedures
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Motivated, self-starter with enthusiasm and pro-active approach
* Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
