Job Description
At AECOM, we are currently seeking an Associate Project Manager: Data Centers to join our Dublin office.
The Opportunity
As an Associate Project Manager specialising in data centres and colocation facilities, you will support the successful delivery of mission‑critical projects. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle—from early‑stage concept and design development through procurement, construction, and commissioning—ensuring projects meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of clients delivering multiple concurrent data centre projects.
Drive revenue growth through repeat business by ensuring consistent, high‑quality project execution.
Achieve and maintain targeted profit margins across all assigned projects.
Deliver projects without financial write‑downs or margin erosion.
Manage projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTFs), proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
Lead complex client engagements and high‑value, technically demanding projects.
Exercise decision‑making authority to guide project teams in identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Direct teams to operate efficiently while minimizing exposure to contractual claims.
Supervise and mentor Project Managers overseeing multiple projects or large‑scale programmes.
Qualifications
A postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
Currently working towards Chartered status with one of the following professional bodies: RICS, CIOB, ICE, RIBA, or Engineers Ireland.
Membership or affiliation with APM would be advantageous.
