Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day activities of our gastro pub. This role requires strong leadership, hospitality expertise, and business acumen to ensure seamless service in both kitchen and front-of-house areas.
Main Responsibilities
* Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth service by managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and maintaining a well-stocked inventory of food, beverages, and other supplies.
* Staff Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and manage staff across all departments, including kitchen, bar, and floor staff. Create effective schedules that balance adequate coverage during peak times with labour costs.
* Customer Experience: Deliver a warm, welcoming, and authentic Irish pub experience for all customers, focusing on high-quality food and drink. Address guest complaints and feedback promptly, resolving issues effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
