Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, part of the iNUA Collection, is a renowned five-star hotel located in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The hotel is surrounded by nature in Killarney National Park and is only 4 km from the town centre. We are seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in the Yew Tree Restaurant and Monks Lounge. This is a permanent role based in the hotel, offering a very attractive package and benefits.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensures that guests receive high-quality service
* Ensure that the Lounge premises are in neat and orderly condition at all times
* Greet and seat the guests, and makes sure that they receive prompt, courteous and efficient service
* Provide guests with high-quality service
* Perform all service duties of the Yew Tree Restaurant and Monks Lounge, i.e. food service, beverage service, room service etc.
* Seek appropriate opportunities to communicate with guests to personalise the service
* Ensures readiness and compliance among all team members
The ideal candidate will have
* At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
* Experience working in high-volume operations is a distinct advantage.
* Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP.
* Understanding of Food and Beverage procedures
* Must be flexible within the role
* Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
