Job Description – Dental Receptionist
Dental Care Ireland have an excellent opportunity for a Dental Receptionist to join our modern Sligo practice (previous Pearse Dental). This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
* 1+ years' Dental Receptionist experience preferred
* This is full-time permanent role.

Reporting to: Practice Manager
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Tasks and responsibilities
* Greeting and registering patients on a day to day basis at the reception desk.
* Providing information and reassurance to patients about their treatment.
* Phone and email management throughout the day.
* Daily cashing up exercise for the practice.
* Appointment book management to ensure maximisation of working hours.
* Providing support to clinicians by sending prescriptions, referral letters, x-rays.
* Payor claim administration for GMS/PRSI/VHI/DeCare.
* Claims and ensuring accuracy of claim forms.
* Payment reconciliation.
* Running daily, weekly and monthly reports from Exact.
* Completion of various spreadsheets for accounts purposes (i.e. cash sheet, trackers etc).
* Key holder duties.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years' experience.
* Authorised to work in Ireland.
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
* Fluent in written and oral English.
* Must have working knowledge in use of Microsoft Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and mail.
