Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Welcome to a challenging and rewarding role as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for overseeing planned maintenance, coordinating works with the maintenance planner and wider maintenance team, and being responsible for all HV related switching activities on site with a safety-first mindset.
The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating/carrying out HV switching activities, good IT literacy, writing & developing switching plans/SOPs/EOPs, previous experience in managing sub-contractors, commissioning and/or troubleshooting electrical control & protection systems would be desirable., Familiar with power generation equipment backup generators/CCGT Experience of communicating (written & verbal) technical reports to internal or external stakeholders Ability to operate independently efficiently Experience in CMMS (Maintenance Management Systems) Familiar with SCADA systems or similar Qualified Electrical Tradesperson NFQ or equivalent
HV training provided by a recognised accredited training provider ie City Guilds is essential Third level qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar is desirable but not essential Able to work Mon-Fri at the customer site
