Clinical Nurse Manager
About the Role:
The position of Clinical Nurse Manager is a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. This involves overseeing the day-to-day clinical management of centre, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulations and a nurturing environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate the delivery of care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of residents.
* Supervise and support a team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
* Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and other regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement individual Short Breaks Passports / Support plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Monitor clinical practices and provide guidance, training and mentorship to staff.
* Manage risk, ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to and address any concerns in a proactive manner.
* Liaise with families, external agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
* A registered nurse with active NMBI registration.
* A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience, preferably in disability, residential or respite care.
* A good working knowledge of HIQA standards and other relevant legislation.
* Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
