With big plans on the horizon, including a bakery, wine & cheese shop, BBQ station and more - we're looking for a till operator to join our TRIBE.
Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Till Operator to join our fast-paced food truck team.
Operating 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, our Till Operators are the face of the business and play a vital role in delivering quick, friendly, and accurate service.
The Till Operator is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring the service area stays clean and organised.
During peak times, this role also supports packaging and customer flow.
The ideal candidate is reliable, upbeat, and able to thrive in a busy environment while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately using the till/POS system
Process cash, card, and digital payments with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain cash handling standards, including correct change and end-of-day balancing
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure fast and correct order preparation
Keep the service counter, till area, and condiment station clean and tidy
Assist with packaging, running orders, & communication with delivery driver
Handle customer queries or issues professionally and positively
Monitor stock levels for front-of-house items (napkins, cutlery, drinks, etc.)
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace policies
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment every shift
Qualifications/Requirements
