Account Management Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Electrical Wholesale Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing portfolios of key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and developing effective sales strategies.
1. Portfolio Management: Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention among existing customers.
2. Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities to expand our customer base through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
3. Sales Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth and exceed targets.
4. Critical Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored product solutions.
5. Strategic Planning: Design and execute a strategic plan to ensure regular customer contact and drive revenue growth.
6. Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare and present quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
7. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience within the electrical wholesale industry or a closely related sector.
* Product Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of electrical products.
* Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
* Self-Motivated: High-energy self-starter with ability to work autonomously.
* Customer Focus: Genuine commitment to best-in-class customer service.
* Commercial Awareness: Commercially astute with ability to manage profit margins.
* IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Driving Licence: Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence is essential.
