As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing daily purchasing and stock control activities. This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join a dynamic retail and building supply operation in Limerick.


Job Description

* Coordinate the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders (PO) from initiation to delivery.
* Monitor sales trends and use system-generated re-order reports to maintain ideal stock levels.
* Assist in preparing purchasing forecasts for both short- and long-term planning.
* Collaborate with the Stock Controller and Sales Team to manage and reduce aged stock.
* Serve as the first point of contact for purchasing-related queries from suppliers and internal teams.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a purchasing, buying, or supply chain coordination role.
* A strong understanding of procurement processes and stock control methods.
* A background in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Experience with Inventory Management Software, ERP, or WMS systems.
