Financial Operations Specialist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, performing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and expertise in financial systems.
1. Financial Operations:
* Process and record financial transactions
* Perform month-end close under US GAAP
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
* Review P&L statements
2. Audit & Compliance:
* Support US GAAP and statutory audits
* Reconcile US GAAP to Local GAAP
* Ensure compliance with SOX and internal audit requirements
3. Intercompany & Tax:
* Manage intercompany balances
* Assist with tax computations, including ASC and local tax returns
4. Process & Projects:
* Contribute to process improvements
* Continuous improvement projects
* Efficiency enhancements in financial operations
5. Stakeholder Management:
* Partner with business unit finance teams
* Internal stakeholders
* External auditors
6. Systems & Tools:
* Experienced with ERP systems
* Advanced Excel for high-volume reconciliations
* Reporting
* Analysis
Qualifications & Skills
* Certified accountant
* Expertise in US GAAP, statutory reporting, audits, and financial processes
* Strong analytical skills
* Effective communication in a diverse international environment
