Are you passionate about sports and events? We’re looking for a full-time Event Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of high-profile sporting tournaments, corporate sports days, and international group travel experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sports environment, has experience managing complex logistics, and enjoys delivering exceptional experiences for players, teams, sponsors, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Sports Event Planning & Support
* Coordinate the delivery of golf tournaments and sporting events, including venue liaison, scheduling, team/athlete registration, and equipment management.
* Assist with corporate and community sports events such as awards nights, training camps, and sponsor activations.
Athlete, Team & Guest Experience
* Manage large-scale travel logistics for sports teams, sponsors, and VIP guests (flights, transfers, accommodation, staffing).
* Provide on-site support including registration desks, meet & greet, and hospitality coordination.
* Ensure a seamless, professional experience for participants and attendees.
Supplier & Partner Coordination
* Work closely with venues, hospitality providers, transport partners, and sports suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
* Manage on-site logistics including catering, branding, signage, scoring systems, and presentation materials.
Operations & Administration
* Maintain detailed event timelines, budgets, and contact lists.
* Support event communications (team itineraries, welcome packs, sponsor briefs, and player information).
* Oversee post-event reports, feedback collection, and reconciliation of costs.
On-Site Event Delivery
* Act as a visible point of contact during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
* Support set-up, live event management, and break-down.
* Availability to work weekends and bank holidays during peak sporting seasons.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years in an events role, ideally within sports, tournaments, or luxury hospitality.
* Proven experience managing group logistics (20+ athletes, teams, or guests).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Professional, detail-oriented, and highly customer-focused.
* Office-based in Dublin 12, with flexibility to travel.
