We are proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an organised Goods Receiver to join their team in Cork As a goods receiver, you will be responsible for managing all incoming deliveries, with a primary focus on food and kitchen-related supplies.
Working in a large and fast-paced facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all items are received accurately, stored correctly, and meet quality and food safety standards.
This position requires someone with a solid background in food handling and a strong commitment to hygiene and inventory control.

Opportunities for career growth within the organisation Key Responsibilities: Unpacking goods in an orderly manner, to enable goods to be easily located, to find and complete each service on time.
Receive and inspect all incoming kitchen-related goods against purchase orders Maintaining health & safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (H&S and HACCP) for food premises, including the ISO quality standard Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products (including cold, frozen, and dry goods) Record delivery discrepancies and liaise with suppliers and procurement to resolve issues Supporting the kitchen team with KP & wash-up duties on occasion Maintain accurate records of stock received and storage locations Ensure compliance with HACCP, food hygiene, and health and safety standards Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organised, and hazard-free Assist with stock checks and inventory audits Key Requirements: Attention to detail when storing and preparing deliveries for service Good working knowledge of food safety standards and best practices (e.g., HACCP) Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in checking deliveries Basic IT skills for logging and tracking inventory Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills: Time Management Communication Organisation
