IT & Systems Manager
We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on IT & Systems Manager to lead and manage the organisation's IT & Software/Systems function in Ireland and UK.
This role will be responsible for the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of IT systems and infrastructure, while supporting business operations and strategic projects.
The IT & Systems Manager will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives, including the post implementation optimisation of a new ERP system, and will act as a trusted technical advisor to senior management.
Roles And Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud‑based systems
Lead cyber security strategy, ensuring systems, data, and users are protected against threats and vulnerabilities
Oversee user access rights, permissions, and identity management across all systems
Manage and support Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint and Power BI, to enable collaboration and data‑driven decision‑making
Lead the post implementation optimisation of a new ERP system (Odoo), working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure minimal downtime and high system performance
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
Manage IT vendors, service providers, and contracts
Ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection, and relevant regulatory requirements
Support business reporting and analytics through Power BI dashboards and data integrations
Plan and manage IT budgets, upgrades, and future technology roadmaps
Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to IT staff and end users
Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT management or senior IT role
Strong hands‑on experience with network management and infrastructure
Proven experience in cyber security, including risk management, system hardening, and incident response
Practical experience administering and supporting SharePoint environments
Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting a new ERP implementation and post implementation optimisation
Strong experience managing access rights, permissions, and user security
Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
Experience working with external vendors and cross‑functional internal teams
Qualifications
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft, networking, cyber security) are highly desirable
Strong knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements within Ireland/EU
Ongoing professional development in IT systems, cyber security, or enterprise applications is an advantage
