Duties and Responsibilities
Data analysis of measured data;
Noise prediction and propagation modelling;
Input to technical noise assessment reports; and
Modelling input and reporting for other technical studies, such as shadow flicker assessments.
Requirements
An acoustics, physics, maths or engineering related degree.
Strong general numeric and mathematical skills.
An interest in energy and the environment.
Full Driving Licence.
Experience of data management and analysis.
Coding skills, especially python.
Proactive team player.
Organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and solution orientated with strong attention to detail.
Interest in energy and the environment.
An ability to understand and explain abstract concepts in a clear way to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Affiliation with the Institute of Acoustics.
The Position
We are looking for a full‑time Graduate consultant to join our Environment and Engineering Team. Applicants should come from an academic background in either acoustics, physics, maths or engineering to assist our acoustics consultants with noise propagation modelling and data analysis.
The Environmental and Engineering team assists developers in taking energy projects from conceptual ideas to buildable assets.
