Arcadis are seeking a 3D Printing Technician to support manufacturing at a world-renowned medical device company in Cork
Key Responsibilities Include:
Operating and Maintaining Equipment: Oversee the setup and maintenance of 3D printers, ensuring they function correctly.
Creating Printed Items: Transform digital designs into physical objects, loading the printer with materials and setting up parameters. Operating 3D printers to produce items according to specific design specifications.
Troubleshooting and Quality Control: Identify and resolve technical issues during the printing process/ Inspecting and verifying the quality and accuracy of printed components.
Post Processing: Perform tasks such as support removal, surface treatment, and inspection of printed parts.
Collaboration: Work with design teams and production personnel to streamline processes and improve efficiency and identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements
A Level 7 qualification in a medical device/manufacturing related field or a trades background with experience in manufacturing.
Experience with various 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLS, SLA, etc.) or familiarity with CAD software and 3D modelling would be a distinct advantage.
