What will you do as a Technical Analyst?
As a Technical Analyst, you will use your analytical, development, and problem-solving skills to configure and support healthcare software solutions. This position is responsible for application processes in various systems, identifying proper operation, testing, and support of installed systems, among other duties. Your growth fuels our growth, and eInformatics provides you with the necessary training, tools, and opportunities to succeed. You will receive mentorship and training in healthcare applications and operations, SQL Server skills, project participation, and customer interaction. We focus on helping you reach your full potential in your position and as a member of our team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of healthcare software requirements, configuration, and usage.
2. Utilize intermediate database competency in Microsoft SQL Server in areas such as logic flow, stored procedures, functions, views, and scheduled jobs.
3. Possess a working understanding of network security, encryption, file systems, connectivity methods, scripting, and batch processes.
4. Demonstrate customer service skills with responsiveness to client requests for support assistance, troubleshooting, problem solving, system configuration, or correction testing.
5. Provide expert guidance and assistance in the use of system parameters and configurations.
6. Maintain proactive communication regarding projects, open tickets with clients, vendors, and implementation team members.
7. Document communications and actions taken clearly.
8. Provide in-house and end-user training on software operation and configuration, including new or related technology and enhancements.
9. Potential involvement in a weekly/bi-weekly on-call rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex issues into layman's terms.
* Experience with IT or line-of-business application support, ideally in healthcare.
* Experience developing technical documentation and estimating resource requirements for tasks and project deliverables.
* Experience with MS SQL Server, HTML, UI/UX design, JavaScript, Node.js, AngularJS, Web Services, APIs, PostgreSQL, HL7, ANSI, ConnectWise.
Required Skills:
* Exceptional customer service and client relationship skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Understanding of database structures and concepts.
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
