Base pay range
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) is seeking to recruit an Executive Officer (Standard Scale).This is a unique opportunity to join a newly established regulator committed to protecting individuals and communities from gambling-related harm.
Successful candidates may be assigned to one of several key departments, including:
* Consumer Protection, Education & Awareness – Leading communication, public awareness, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to reduce gambling harm.
* People & Corporate Services – Driving internal excellence in HR, finance, governance, and strategic operations.
* Licensing – Developing and managing Ireland’s robust licensing regime for the gambling sector.
* Compliance & Dispute Resolution – Monitoring licensee compliance, supporting enforcement, and ensuring fairness for all players.
* Technology / Digital First – Building a cutting-edge digital infrastructure to support secure, data-driven regulation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and processes
* Managing stakeholder communications and case handling
* Supporting projects, research, and data analysis
* Drafting reports, correspondence, and briefing materials
* Providing administrative and operational support across the organisation
* Level 7 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field
* Proven ability to use IT systems effectively, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proven communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders
