THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading innovator in the space of manufacturing and remain leaps ahead of their competitors in terms of technology. The have been growing steadily over the last 12 - 18 months, with no signs of slowing down. They work with some of the biggest companies in the space of food, beverage, pharma, delivering holistic manufacturing solutions and continually succeed in their ambition to enhance the quality and efficiencies if their client's factory's. As they continue to grow, they are now looking to hire a new Automation Engineer.
THE ROLE:
The successful Automation Engineer will work in a Hybrid capacity and will be on site roughly 10-15% of the time, you will be responsible for the following:
* Involved in whole process, liaising with clients to understand needs, liaise with the design dept, manufacturing & handover
* Involved in the specification of VSDs, motors and control systems
* Programming PLCs from scratch on each project (mostly Siemens, some Allen Bradley)
* May be involved in specification of electrical panels including wiring depending on prior experience
* Will be required on site during product building and on customer sites for installs. This can be remote otherwise
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak to experienced Engineers who will be based in Tipperary or commutable.
* Must have experience programming PLCs
* Ideally you will have experience servicing or building machines or managing a team that carry out that work
* Those coming from a manufacturing environment will be beneficial
* Someone who was previously in a control, automation position or similar are sought
THE PACKAGE:
* Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 DOE
* Individual Healthcare cover
