Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Onsite Structural Steel Painter to carry out paint repair works on structural steel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to all safety and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out repair painting on structural steel to required standards
Ensure all coatings meet project specifications and quality requirements
Accurately measure and record Dry Film Thickness (DFT)
Complete and maintain detailed DFT records and climate reports
Use equipment such as Elcometer for inspection and reporting
Always follow all onsite health and safety procedures
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
Valid MEWP certification
Valid Safe Pass
Proven experience in structural steel painting / industrial coating
Ability to accurately record DFT readings and environmental conditions
Familiarity with Elcometer equipment (or similar)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and organizational skills
Desirable
Experience working on construction or industrial sites.
Additional safety certifications
Only candidates with the required certifications will be considered.
