If you have a passion for cooking and are looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:· Prepare and cook a variety of Greek dishes to the highest standard· Follow recipes and menus to ensure consistency and quality· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards· Work efficiently and effectively to meet food preparation deadlines· Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service· Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and cooking techniques· Assist with inventory management and food storage· Work effectively in a high-volume service environment.· Support the training and supervision of junior team members when required.· Ensure kitchen cleanliness, waste disposal, and hygiene checks are maintained.· Adhere to company policies, including Equality, Health & Safety, and Dignity at Work.· Maintain food hygiene and safety standards in line with: Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) guidelines, HACCP standards, Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.· Monitor stock levels, conduct stock rotation, and minimize waste.· Ensure allergen information is accurately followed in compliance with EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation (No. 1169/2011).Requirements:· Minimum 1–3 years' cooking experience in a busy hospitality environment (restaurant, catering, or street food), further training will be provided· Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment * Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations· Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 25kg)· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Desired Qualifications:· Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)· Basic culinary training or equivalent experience * Familiarity with Greek cuisine and ingredients· Excellent communication and teamwork skills· Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitudeIf you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for cooking, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
