Relief Social Care Worker
Odyssey Social Care are seeking energetic Relief Social Care Workers to join our residential care team based in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick. In your role, you will act as a support and care worker to young people in the house, working towards achieving better outcomes for young people every day.
As the Social Care Worker, your responsibilities will include contributing to needs assessments, implementing aspects of Placement, Behaviour Support (BSP), and Individual Crisis Management (ICMP) Plans to meet assessed needs. You will use the Odyssey Model of Care to teach new skills to young people and manage challenging behaviour. You will also connect young people with local resources, network with local providers, and liaise with parents, carers, and referral agencies. This role involves evening, weekend, and residential shift working.
Salary: €225 for 15-hour shifts, €367.50 for 24.5-hour shifts.

What You Bring:
* Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or relevant field registered with CORU
* Relevant qualifications such as Psychology (Level 8), Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling, Youth and Community Work, Social Sciences, Family Support, Disability Studies, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Early Years Care, BA Applied Policing, Higher Certificate in Custodial Care, Teaching, or Nursing
