In this role, you’ll help upskill plant operators across a fleet of generation assets, supporting Ireland’s energy transition and infrastructure.As Senior Training Officer, you will:Deliver classroom and on-site training on power plant systems (e.g. turbines, steam cycles, fuel handling)Design and maintain technical training materials and assessmentsSupport trainees in building the skills needed to operate complex generation equipmentWork closely with engineering and plant teams to ensure training matches operational needsWhat You’ll Bring5+ years’ experience working in power plant operations (conventional, combined cycle, hydro, etc.)Strong technical know-how — and the ability to explain it clearlyExperience delivering structured training, assessments, or mentoringComfortable using technical drawings, manuals, and Microsoft Office toolsFamiliarity with systems like Siemens V94.2, GE Frame 9, or Alstom GT26/24 is a plusA craft/trade qualification in mechanical or electrical discipline — or equivalent hands-on experienceOpen to applicants nationwide.
