We pride ourselves on strong systems, accuracy, and excellent client service.Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to support both client delivery and the smooth running of our office and internal workflows.Role OverviewThis is a varied and responsible role suited to someone with experience in a bookkeeping or accounting practice who enjoys structure, systems, and ownership. The Office Administrator will play a central role in coordinating workflows, supporting payroll and bookkeeping delivery, overseeing work quality, and managing key office and administrative responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesOffice & Practice AdministrationAct as office keyholder, including opening and closing the office as requiredSupport the day-to-day operation of the practiceMaintain internal procedures, templates, and documentationAssist with onboarding of new clients and setup of systemsWorkflow & Team CoordinationCreate, manage, and maintain workflows to ensure client deadlines are metWork extensively with Bright software and Odoo for payroll, workflows, and internal systemsAssist in the allocation of tasks across the teamOversee completed work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a high professional standardIdentify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencyClient Support, Bookkeeping & Payroll OversightManage and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clientsSupport payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate submissions to RevenueAssist with VAT return preparation and submissionsHandle client queries professionally via phone and emailMaintain accurate records and reportingCredit Control (on behalf of clients)Manage credit control processes for client portfoliosPrepare debtor reports and follow up on outstanding balancesIssue statements and liaise with clients regarding overdue accountsKey RequirementsExperience: Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an Irish bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting practiceRegulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Irish VAT, PAYE, PRSI, USC, and RCTSoftware Skills:Strong experience with Bright Payroll (essential)Experience with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Thesaurus, or similarExperience using Odoo or workflow/ERP systems is a strong advantageOrganisation & Accuracy: Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skillsResponsibility: Comfortable taking ownership and overseeing work qualityTeam-Oriented: Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative teamWhat's on Offer?Competitive salary, commensurate with experienceCareer progression opportunities within a growing practiceSupportive, professional team environmentOngoing training and professional developmentSchedule:Monday to Friday; flexible hoursJob Type: Full-timePay: €33,000.00-€40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeFree or subsidised travelSick payExperience:Bookkeeping/ Practice Administration: 2 years (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
