HPC Roofing and Insulation, a leading supplier of Insulation and Fire Stopping products in Ireland, part of the HPC Group, are looking for a Warehouse Manager to run our Warehouse in the M50 Business Park, Ballymount.
Job Purpose: The role of the Warehouse Manager HPC Insulation, is to manage the daytoday function and operation of the warehouse and yard in the most efficient and costeffective manner while being fully compliant with all relevant legislation, regulation and in line with company policy and procedures.
To ensure a high level of operational excellence in relation to H&S, stock management, customer service, warehouse efficiencies, traffic management, as well as the customer experience for onsite collections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for H&S in the warehouse environment, including risk management assessments and coordination with Group H&S function.
* Management of the warehouse team in all aspects of the warehouse function.
* Manage and maintain stock location system.
* Develop and manage a strong, focused operational team.
* Responsible for the implementation of company policies and procedures in relation to performance management, H&S, SOP's and SLA's.
* Problem solving.
* Effectively manage housekeeping on a daily/weekly basis.
* Continuous review of service and operational capacity, reviewing change as necessary in order to maximise efficiency and effectiveness .
* Manage key relationships internally and externally with HPC sales teams, the wider network and third party service providers .
* Conduct regular reviews with the warehouse team in relation to service and performance
Knowledge and Experience:
* Proven track record in warehouse management.
* Proven experience of implementing high standards of Health and Safety with a knowledge of H&S Legislation.
* Experience with ERP systems.
* Selfmotivated, good interpersonal skills.
* Adaptive management style with the ability to address challenging situations and reach solutions.
* Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing a quality service.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to influence others to deliver results.
* Strong time management, organisation and planning skills.
* Ability to support and motivate a team
