About the job: Our cashiers are the face of our business, interacting with customers, processing payments, and providing amazing customer service experiences.
Job Responsibilities
* Receive payment by cash, cheque, credit-cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
* Compute and record transactions with 100% accuracy.
* Maintain the Cash Desk to company standards, including daily housekeeping duties.
* Handle cash and ensure safe custody.
* Build customer loyalty through great service, being attentive to customer needs, and exceeding expectations.
* Answer and follow up on customer enquiries at the cash desk and on the phone.
* Adhere to Cashier Policies and Procedures.
* Familiarize yourself with current sales, advertising campaigns, and company initiatives.
Requirements
* Leaving cert or equivalent required, with experience working face-to-face with the public in a customer service role.
* Preferably 1-3 years of hospitality, tourism, or retail experience, with basic Excel skills.
* Customer-oriented, confident, and people-oriented, with a warm and friendly demeanor.
* Strong numerical and logical ability, with the ability to handle and count money.
* Hardworking, conscientious, and self-motivated, with a high degree of personal and interpersonal energy.
