We now have a fantastic new opportunity for Cafe Prep Chef to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.
Objective of this role: This role involves preparing high-quality food items for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea service, including deli sandwiches, staff meals, and cafe specials.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a cafe, deli, or prep kitchen is preferred
* Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
* Ability to multitask and manage prep work across different meal times
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
* Flexibility to work various shifts, mornings
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches for afternoon tea and deli-style lunches
* Support preparation and service of breakfast items, ensuring freshness and presentation standards
* Assist in preparing food for the Wild Cherry Cafe menu, following established recipes and quality guidelines
* Prepare and portion staff meals as required
* Maintain a clean and organized work station in line with food safety standards
* Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate replenishment needs
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
* Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties as needed
