Job Description:
This specialist role encompasses a major clinical focus, including assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care provided to individuals with complex needs. The post holder will provide direct nursing care and support in Adult Day Services, addressing areas such as complex care and behaviours of concern.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff across the region and at satellite sites, ensuring up-to-date clinical practice and competence.
* Develop and deliver bespoke training programmes, identifying areas for improvement and assuring the competence of healthcare professionals and support staff.
* Work closely with service managers to develop and implement behaviour support plans.
* Maintain a broad knowledge of Enable Ireland's services and complexity of working in a large organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A recognised validated University Degree or equivalent qualification in General/RNID/Paediatric Nursing/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
* Registration with An Bord Altranais (NMBI).
* Post-graduate (level 9) nursing qualification.
* Qualification in Behaviour Support.
* At least 5 years' experience working frontline with individuals with disabilities and medical needs.
* Experience facilitating training in areas such as Medication Management, PEG feeding, MAPA training, Positive Behaviour Support, Epilepsy training, and Train the Trainer Certified or equivalent certified Training qualification.
