Senior Full Stack Developer The Mater Private Network, a leader in Irish private healthcare, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the IT team.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Purpose of post: The Senior Full Stack Developer will play a hands-on technical role in designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and high-performance digital platforms across clinical and patient-facing healthcare systems.
This role requires deep full stack engineering expertise, strong architectural thinking, and a passion for building robust, high-quality software in highly regulated healthcare environments.
The successful candidate will contribute directly to solution architecture, hands-on development, system optimisation, and mentoring junior engineers.
Skills & Qualifications: Essential: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
6+ years professional full stack development experience delivering production-grade systems.
Strong hands-on expertise in: ?Frontend: React, Angular, or Vue; modern Java Script/Type Script; responsive UI frameworks ?Backend: Node.js, Java (Spring Boot),.
NET, or Python (Fast API / Django) ?API Design: REST, OAuth2, Open ID Connect, event-driven messaging ?Databases: Postgre SQL, My SQL, SQL Server, Mongo DB ?Cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP ?Containers: Docker, Kubernetes ?CI/CD: Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins Proven experience delivering secure, scalable, production-grade software systems Desirable Experience: Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries.
Familiarity with FHIR APIs, healthcare interoperability, and clinical data workflows.
Mobile development experience (React Native / Flutter / Swift / Kotlin).
Experience with event streaming platforms (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Azure Service Bus).
Salary range: €70,000- €80,000 depending on experience.
