Overall Context
Our People team is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to be part of the Global Compensation Operations org within the Total Reward team. This is an individual contributor role. This role provides a great opportunity to learn global practices and work with far spread team members and stakeholders.
The Compensation Operations org oversees the Compensation philosophy, programs and related technology and process infrastructure, including the compensation cycles, technology transformation, and typical operations activities (including data audits, job structure maintenance, budgeting, survey submissions and analysis, total comp analysis etc).
This role can be based remotely in the Ireland region.
Reporting Line
This role will report into the Sr Manager, Comp Operations and have accountability to be the day to day lead on all critical compensation operational activities.
Key Responsibilities

Compensation Operations Core Activities and related Transformation Accountabilities


Partnering with the Technology, Analytics, and FP&A teams and the broader HR team members to own the build and management of the annual cash comp budgeting.
Conduct annual as well as ad-hoc Total Comp analyses and keep abreast of market trends to provide competitive intelligence to the Compensation Partnering team.
Manage MongoDB’s external market data, including timely and accurate survey submissions for Radford, Pave, Compa, etc. Own the survey submission calendar and work with other Comp Ops team members for data consolidation and submissions.
Mentoring the Comp Pod team members (within HR Shared Services) and overseeing their deliverables, which include repeatable comp ops BAU work as well as maintenance of the ZenDesk ticketing system for all queries related to compensation.
A key focus will be to assess existing processes and build efficiencies to build for scale and drive compensation process efficiencies and enhancements via the Pod.
Be the primary point of contact for the activities of the compensation operations deliverables such as data integrity across compensation dashboards, maintaining Job Architecture related compensation infrastructure, building robust and sustainable systems and processes that enable HR and Business stakeholders to experience Compensation related activities in a seamless fashion etc.
Responsible for maintaining a strong partnership with the HR Analytics and Tech (Robotic Process Automations) teams to deliver the transformational requirements.
Creating and delivering communications as needed on behalf of the compensation team.
Engaging with HRBPs and Comp partners regularly for enhancements, updates and successful delivery. Responsible for escalating issues early in the process where appropriate.


Broader Projects and Analytical support


Lead projects in the reward transformation agenda on behalf of the global compensation team.
Partner with the broader Comp Operations team for the planning and delivery of the Compensation cycles, and related analytical requirements
Ad-hoc analytical support to reward leadership for organizational deliverables such as budgeting, competitive analysis etc.



What You'll Need to be Successful

Relevant Experience


5+ years of meaningful, complex analytical experience in Compensation, ideally gained in an Enterprise-level public company.
Interest and experience in deep analytics and scenario modeling is an essential requirement for this role. Having a mathematical or Computer Sciences background will be an advantage, given the deep analytical needs we have.
Confidence in working with a myriad of stakeholders in a multi-time zone, complex and evolving business, including cross functional team members, HR Business Partners, Finance Partners, Technology Partners, etc.
Advanced skills in MS Office / G-Suite, especially GSheets, with an ability to navigate a multi-layered Compensation Technology Stack (including Tableau, SuccessFactors, and other systems).


Key Navigation Skills


Strong communicator via all channels (in person, online, in writing) and able to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually. You will be able to operate in a fast paced environment, prioritize workload and manage multiple deliverables.
Highly organised, you will need to be detail oriented, enjoy multi-tasking and have excellent follow through skills.
You will be process oriented and enjoy creating process and structure where there may be ambiguity and be skilled at finding creative solutions to non-obvious problems. On any given day, you could find yourself in the operational/tactical details, followed by meetings focused on vision / strategy!
Ideally you will have experience of working remotely and/or internationally coordinating with peers and team members globally and understand the challenges and opportunities of remote working and remote communication including self management on timelines and deliverables.
Ability to succeed in a collaborative, startup-paced environment, with good business acumen.
