Karen M Clabby Solicitors are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary.
Job:
The position will involve a broad range of responsibilities including:
* Dealing with all aspects of conveyancing files with appropriate supervision;
* Taking clients' instructions;
* Reviewing title documentation;
* Drafting Contracts for Sale;
* Drafting Land Registry and Registry of Deeds forms (including first registration applications), Statutory Declarations etc.;
* Keeping clients informed of the up-to-date status of their transaction and dealing with any queries they may have;
* Filing stamp duty returns
* Scheduling title deeds
Experience, knowledge and skills:
The candidate should have:
* At least 3 years experience in conveyancing practice.
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner;
* Accuracy and attention to detail;
* The ability to use their own initiative and to manage workload efficiently.
* The ability to meet deadlines;
* Strong administration and organisational skills.
