Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team, responsible for managing various financial tasks including weekly payroll, project costs, and stock reconciliation.
* Manage the preparation of weekly payroll files for submission to third-party providers.
* Accurately calculate monthly project costs in collaboration with Quantity Surveying and Production Admin teams.
* Participate in stock takes and complete stock reconciliation exercises.
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and billing documents in cooperation with the Commercial team.
* Perform debt collection activities and follow up on overdue customer payments.
* Liaise with credit insurers to set up new customers with credit insurance.
* Act as a key contact for auditors and other third parties during quarterly Invoice Discounting audits.
* Support ad hoc finance-related tasks as required.
Key Qualifications
* Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Minimum of three years industry experience, ideally in manufacturing, or experience in an accounting practice.
* Experience with Finance ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
* An inquisitive mindset and willingness to learn.
