As a junior member of our Operations team, you will provide essential front-line support for our traders.We seek candidates with a strong academic background and excellent analytical skills.* Perform daily trading reconciliations and other post-trade activities, including handling invoices, brokerage, rebates, market data fees, and trade breaks.* Collaborate with our accounting department to ensure they receive detailed reconciliation reports.* Manage relationships with external vendors.* Handle ad hoc projects and requests on a day-to-day basis.* Develop a deep understanding of our proprietary systems.* Provide real-time support by responding to emails, chats, and trader requests.* Manage position transfers between counterparties and exchanges.* Assist with trader onboarding and offboarding, including setting up new accounts.**What You'll Need*** A BS or MS degree in a STEM-related field with a solid academic record.* Recent graduate or entry-level experience; financial services experience is a plus.* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.* Knowledge of SQL Server or another relational database is highly desired.* A demonstrated interest in financial markets and derivatives products.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a small team.* This role is onsite in our Chicago Office.
