QualificationsQualified accountant of 3 years or moreHave audit experienceProficiency in use of MS Excel and WordAbility to organize work effectively and meet deadlinesDemonstrated analytical and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAmbitious and driven.Have own transportResponsibilitiesAssisting in the preparation of monthly accounts from initiation right through to sign off in the area of profit & loss, balance sheetPreparation of Monthly Accruals/Prepayment/Stock JournalsBalance Sheet Reconciliations & Nominal AnalysisPreparation of quarterly accounting information, to include Cost Centre/Departmental ReportingMonitoring compliance with corporate policies, re Cash ManagementDaily/Weekly/Monthly Cash Reconciliations from various depotsPreparation / filing VAT3/VAT RTD/Intra Stat and other statutory returnsPreparation of monthly cash reports.Preparation of budgets / forecasts.Work individually and as part of a team to generate efficiency in the use of finance-related IT systems, utilising the ERP and consolidation systems to their full potentialOther ad hoc duties/projects as may arise
