Job Overview
The Deputy Person in Charge plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care to children within the organization. Reporting directly to the Person in Charge, they lead a team of Social Care Workers and drive the support of young people living self-determined lives.
* Exercise delegated authority as Deputy Person in Charge
* Coordinate staff rotas, attendance systems, and facilitate open communication channels
* Participate in training development and implementation, including induction training for new team members
* Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary
* Lead and develop the staff team in delivering person-centered services and resolving complex issues
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver care aligned with professional clinical guidelines, national policies, regional regulations, local protocols, and legislation
* Assume day-to-day operational responsibilities, ensuring the service aligns with the organization's vision and ethos
* Act as a dedicated point of contact and liaison between teams and stakeholders
