We are seeking a Senior Civil Technician to join our Dublin office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established consultancy that has been delivering structural and civil engineering solutions across Ireland and Europe for nearly 40 years.
As a key member of the civil engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality 2D and 3D models and drawings to support a wide range of civil and structural projects. Your role will involve:
* Preparing detailed civil drawings including cut & fill plans, sections, vehicle tracking and drainage layouts
* Using Civil 3D and Revit to model surfaces, drainage networks and coordinate underground services with other disciplines
* Producing 3D models to support project planning, design, and planning applications
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles across roads, drainage, earthworks, and buried services
* Experience working with CAD software (Civil 3D and/or Revit preferred)
* General construction knowledge and the ability to translate design intent into buildable drawings
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
