Pharmacy Assistant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to support our team in Celbridge. This is a permanent, full-time position spread over 5 days per week, with approximately two Saturdays per month on rotation. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the dispensary with preparing and dispensing prescriptions to patients
* Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries or requests
* Managing and monitoring prescribed dosages
* Taking care of paperwork and monthly claims as required
* Providing exceptional customer service at all times
* Any other duties as required by the pharmacy management team
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team and also independently
* A proactive attitude with a strong focus on patient care and customer service
* Previous experience working in an Irish community pharmacy (at least 1 year) is essential
* Touchstore experience preferred but not essential
* Higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies; IPU course is desirable
